Anker is released from prison after fifteen years in prison for robbery. As soon as he is free, he sets off to collect the loot that his brother Manfred had buried at the time. But Manfred, who has been struggling with a mental illness since the events, remembers nothing. Together, the brothers embark on an unexpected journey – to find the money, but also to find out who they really are.

With THE LAST VIKING, director Anders Thomas Jensen stages a crazy chase scene full of bizarre characters and a good dose of black humor.
