The Royal Rockers

As early as the 1980s, these four musicians shaped the Chur music scene in cult bands such as The Pyros, Vince & The Moondogs and Sculpture. Later, they rocked in bands such as Breathless, Third Stone from the Sun, Intoxicate, Blududerino, and Hampa & The Charms.

About two years ago, Marc and Roland sat in the Royal Rockers Bar and reminisced about the good old days. The two have known each other since school days and were deeply rooted in the rockabilly scene at the time. That's when they came up with the idea: Why not start a band again? But this time it was to go "back to the roots" – authentic rockabilly, classic hits, neo-rockabilly in the style of the 80s and a pinch of blues.

Without further ado, Renato and Beat were brought on board and The Royal Rockers were born. Their first performances in 2024 were a complete success and delighted both the band and the audience. It was especially nice to see that many friends and acquaintances remembered the good old days or became interested in music for the first time. The three concerts in 2024 were well attended and the energy and passion of the Royal Rockers made you want more.
