In the two-day dry stone wall construction course, you will learn how to build and repair a dry stone wall. Dry stone walls are a cultural asset of agriculture in the region and at the same time provide a habitat for many creatures. They characterize the landscape in Parc Ela and have been built for centuries with natural stone without concrete and mortar to delimit pastures, for avalanche protection or as retaining walls.
With their commitment, they help to restore cultural assets and preserve the habitat for the creatures that live in the dry stone walls. The result can still be admired years after the operation!

Equipment: Good footwear, if possible with steel toecaps, work gloves, clothing adapted to the weather.
