Uusverkauf – Text&Ton von und mit Mario Giovanoli

Mario Giovanoli alias mcjoe (*1953, composer and multi-instrumentalist) has translated a selection of his song lyrics, originally written in English from 1980 to 2025, into the Khuurer dialect. In this program, they are combined with modern classical flute literature and performed in an entertaining way. Works by Claude Debussy (1862–1918), Harald Genzmer (1909–2007), Paul Hindemith (1895–1963), Hans-Ulrich Staeps (1909–1988) and Mario Giovanoli will be performed. The original English lyrics are part of every concert by the Khuur pop band "Stone Age Teenies".
