"Glacier Mummies, Water Corpses & Co." is an exhibition about the crime scene of Graubünden.

The regional crime novel is a genre that has become increasingly popular in recent years and produces countless new publications every year. In addition to entertainment, it is a packaging for a wide variety of messages, e.g. tourist or culinary advertising by describing wonderful landscapes, wines and food. The crime thriller also partly transports political, social or ecological concerns.
This exhibition is based on "Murder Landscapes", the book by Dr. Thomas Barfuss, who analysed this and records the history of crime fiction in Graubünden.
Opening on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Then open on Wednesdays and Saturdays until 14 March 2026.

The exhibition is based on "Murder Landscapes", the book by Dr. Thomas Barfuss, who examined the regional crime novel and records its history in Graubünden. It is supplemented by a small library, a media library and interactive stations.
Dr. Thomas Barfuss is a literary and cultural scientist, Senior Researcher at the Institute for Cultural Research Graubünden (IKG). "Mordslandschaften" was created as part of a research project of the IKG.
