On Sunday, October 5, we will open our autumn exhibition "EXPRESSION IN LINE AND COLOR - Drawings and Watercolors by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner".

The exhibition is dedicated to Kirchner's drawings, pastels and watercolours, a little-lit but central facet of his work. A selection of around 150 works from the museum's rich collection of around 900 works on paper allows a deep insight into the quality and development of these media in Kirchner's hands – from the early "Brücke" years to Davos.
