Violeta García
García is a cellist, composer, improviser and curator from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lives between Buenos Aires, Barcelona and Zurich. She works as a performer and composer in various art forms, including free improvisation, contemporary music, and hybrid electronic noise sets with cello and analog synthesizers. She is also a member of the noise punk band Blanco Teta.

The two artists share a moment of deep reverie and suspenseful intensity. The music of the two, meditative and dynamic at the same time, is a place of sonic encounter between different worlds. She creates imaginary places and landscapes: endless steppes, abandoned cities, inner oceans. Nothing is linear – the music unfolds as a fragmented and instinctive narrative, carried by divine and ominous chants, majestically intoned by Saadet, and by the violent, unpredictable piano textures of Anaïs Tuerlinckx. A deeply physical journey that oscillates between swirling energy, mystery and contemplation.
