The Donatsch family has owned the “Ochsen” in Malans for over 100 years – five generations of wine connoisseurs.
A visit to the historic wooden Arvenstube of the Winzerstube “zum Ochsen” in Malans is a memorable experience for all the senses.
In an elegant atmosphere, guests enjoy regional specialities accompanied by outstanding wines from our own Donatsch winery.
Selected Donatsch wines can also be ordered in the Winzerstube as a tasting board, individually chosen for a personal wine tasting experience.
Our small and carefully curated menu focuses on quality rather than quantity:
Homemade barley soup, a hearty local sausage, a Bündner platter with air-dried meat specialities and a well-aged cheese.
The historic Bündnerstube, built in 1926, with its famous blue tiled stove invites guests to linger, especially during the winter months.
On sunny days, the balcony offers a magnificent view over the rooftops of Malans towards the Bündner mountains.
For wine lovers, the vinotheque offers an exceptional selection of fine wines:
Vintages from the Donatsch winery, wines from selected growers of the Bündner Herrschaft, as well as great classics from Bordeaux, Burgundy and other European regions.
More than 200 wines are available, including highly sought-after rarities.
