Gasthaus Altes Post im Winter
Right at the entrance to the world famous Viamala gorge, and along the historic long-distance hike “Via Spluga”, you’ll find the rustic and small Restaurant “Zur alten Post”, located in the village Rongellen.

Description

The cosy Alte Post guesthouse in the village centre of Zillis lies in the middle of the beautiful and natural mountain world of Val Schons, in the heart of the Beverin Nature Park. Situated to the south of the Viamala, Zillis with its St Martin's Church, famous for its 12th century picture ceiling, is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes. Examples include the viaSpluga, the via Capricorn and the Veia Traversina, to name but a few. Toboggan runs, winter hiking trails and the surrounding ski areas turn every winter day into an eventful day of holiday enjoyment.

The capuns-factory gourmet shop is also set up in the parlour and all products can be purchased surrounded by restored farmhouse furniture along with delicious drinks and food.

The home-made capuns have already won several medals at the Swiss regional products competition!
