Capanna Anzana is located on the border between Switzerland and Italy (Valposchiavo and Valtellina), at an altitude of 2050 m above sea level.

Owned by the Municipality of Brusio, it was however built with voluntary work by a group of mountain lovers. This refuge is an irreplaceable reference point for lovers of Val dal Saent, who have the opportunity to discover the intact natural beauty of this corner of Valposchiavo.

Breakfast and tasty grills prepared on request and by prior arrangement by telephone. Outdoor grill place available to guests. Wood heating and hot water shower heated with wood mixer and in the summer months with electricity. During the summer there is the possibility to buy milk, butter and cheese directly from the mountain dwellers.

The final cleaning is charged to the guests or for a fee is carried out by the managers themselves.

Public Transport

By train: Get off at the Campascio stop and get on the PubliCar bus to Cavaione (reservations required at least one hour before the desired departure at the free number T 0800 126 126). Continue on foot. Duration of the walk approx. 2 h of comfortable ascent.

The refuge can also be reached from Le Prese by climbing towards Torn, passing through Alp Mürasc and Alp Valüglia, crossing the Tre Croci pass you arrive at Li Piani and then at Alpe Pescia. It is a challenging but certainly rewarding path. From the Italian side it can be reached coming from Teglio-Prato Valentino and passing through the Meden pass.
