Description
Pass hiking – traveling between worlds
Pass hiking is more than just hiking – it is a discipline in its own right with a very special appeal. It is not about summit victories or altitude meters, but about discovery. About the curiosity of what lies beyond the next pass. Because every crossing – whether pass, furggel, or bocchetta – opens the view to a new world and leaves the old one behind.
The Alpine Pass Route brings together many of the most impressive crossings in the Graubünden and Valais Alps into a continuous route. 43 stages lead through high alpine landscapes, over historic paths, and through remote valleys – from the wild Greina plateau to the lake region at the foot of the Dents du Midi. A tour that demands much but also deeply touches.
Of course, it does not have to be hiked all at once. The great advantage: in every valley between two passes, you can start or end the route flexibly. And whoever one day walks it all the way through can rightly say: I have felt the soul of the Alps.

Safety Note
In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar approaches during the hike, you should turn back in time.
