In the plain of Degen you will find a 4 km long trail with fantastic views of the Lumnezia mountains. The cross-country ski trail leads over a rather flat terrain and is therefore suitable for beginners as well as for professionals, it is groomed classic as well as for skating. The entrance to the trail is located on the upper edge of the village of Degen about 100 m from the parking lot.
Cross-country ski passes can be obtained from the tourist information office in Vella. Day passes can be purchased at the cross-country ski trail.
Night trail every Tuesday and Thursday 18:00 – 21:00
Important Notice
From 18:00 o'clock the trail is closed for grooming. Running on a freshly groomed trail destroys it for the next day. We ask you to use the trail in the evening only on the designated day.
