Description
The circular route starts at Klosters Platz station. It first follows the well-known "Gadäwäg" before the first tough ascent through Monbieler and Alpwald to the Älpeltispitz is tackled. The short detour to the summit of the 2,685m high Älpeltispitz should definitely be planned, as it offers a breathtaking view of the Graubünden mountains. Afterwards, the trail descends via Ochsenwäng into the beautiful Schlappin Valley. Along the rushing Schlappinbach, it continues over Usser Säss and the Kübliser Alp to Inner Säss. From Usser Säss, the path ascends again. After passing the Hüenersee, it is not far to the second peak - the Schottenseefürggli. From here you have a beautiful view of the second lake of this route - the Schottensee. From Schottenseefürggli, it goes only downhill. The trail passes the third lake, the Seetalsee. Here is also the simple Seetal hut of the SAC. The last part of the trail leads gently downhill past Alp Sardasca along the Verstanclabach and Alp Garfiun down to Monbiel and then further to Klosters Platz.
Hidden Gem
At Alp Sardasca, the syrup bar offers a welcome refreshment opportunity.
Safety Note
In the Davos Klosters destination, there are many managed alpine farms with livestock. It is therefore to be expected to encounter animals everywhere. We ask for appropriate consideration.
