Take the double-decker train to the Alptrider Sattel and continue walking to Alp Bella towards Grübelekopf, before turning right to the Upper Malfrag. On the descent, you first pass the Fliesser Stieralp and then the Fliesser Alp.

Description
The route Alptrider Sattel - Upper Malfrag - Samnaun-Compatsch is a scenic hiking trail in the border region between Austria and Switzerland.
Starting from Alptrider Sattel, the trail leads through picturesque alpine landscapes with splendid views of the surrounding mountains (Spatlakopf, Mathäuskopf). On the way to Upper Malfrag, you will experience the natural beauty of the area such as meadows and possible encounters with native wildlife.
On the descent, you can stop at the Fliesser Alp. The hike ends at the bus stop Samnaun-Compatsch, village.

- By the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from Upper Engadin) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- Continue by PostAuto (from Scuol-Tarasp, or Martina, Cunfin) hourly to the PostAuto stop Samnaun-Ravaisch, cable cars
- In Samnaun, hourly service during the day with the Samnaun bus
Travel Information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains). Then on H27 heading over Scuol and Martina to Vinadi. At the Vinadi junction, continue to Samnaun (approx. 1 hour from Vereina south portal)
- From the east: via the Inn valley road B180 via Landeck to Pfunds, Kajetansbrücke junction and via Spiss to Samnaun.
- From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders) on B180 to Pfunds, Kajetansbrücke junction and via Spiss to Samnaun.
By double-decker train from Samnaun-Ravaisch to Alp Trida Sattel.

Free parking at the cable cars in Samnaun-Ravaisch.
