Description
Steep climbs, demanding singletrails, and great descents characterize the Arosa Lenzerheide round route. Starting from Obersee in Arosa, forest and logging roads lead towards Carmennahütte. The climbs are ideal for warming up before reaching the steepest section towards the Hörnli hut. On gravel roads and ratrack trails, endurance, strength, and skill are required. Once at the top, it is recommended to enjoy a break at the Hörnli hut.
Well rested, continue on the tricky singletrails to Urdenfürggli. The path through the unique Urdental challenges every biker with its difficult sections but always offers unique views of the Graubünden mountain world.
From Urdenfürggli, get ready for the descent to Lenzerheide. The freeride trails are very varied and can be enjoyed by both professionals and recreational bikers. After more than 1000m of elevation difference, you will arrive in Lenzerheide safely, full of adrenaline but with trembling forearms.
From Lenzerheide, continue on gravel and asphalt roads up to the Chur Pass. There you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Chur Rhine Valley and the opposite Calanda massif. The route starts with a demanding singletrail towards Tschiertschen. It continues over the Löser, with a short but steep climb to Ochsenalp and via Prätschalp back to Arosa.
