Description

Behind the station, the path leads up to the forest hotel, through the forest it goes higher and higher until you reach the road again and already have reached the highest point at Prätschli. Past the Hotel Prätschli and the Prätschlistall, the path leads downhill again and now offers a view over the cross-country trails from Maran to Medergen on the opposite side of the valley. If you still have some energy here, you can extend the route a bit and climb further towards Arlenwald, then walk back over the Maraner Hüschi to Maran. In Maran, a stop at the dairy or the Isblatere is worthwhile. The way back to the village leads over the Squirrel Path. If you have some patience and bring nuts, you can feed the little cheeky animals from your hand. Even the birds come to take the feed from your hand. An experience for the whole family.

Eating in the goods shed means a lot of fire & flames. Because in our highlight, the Josper, it goes hot to and fro. When prepared in this special charcoal grill oven, temperatures of up to 350 degrees are produced. This makes meat, fish and vegetables particularly juicy and gives them wonderful precious wood aromas. So our kitchen team, around chef Martin Völker, skilfully makes the goods shed dishes fire under the grate. The menu takes you on a culinary journey through the Alps – with small detours to the Orient. You will be catered for from morning to evening, with hot and cold dishes as well as daily brunch. And even with liquid happiness you will be supplied abundantly: cocktails with and without, exquisite wines, classics and soft drinks – hot, cold, shaken and stirred we have them all! At the bar with live music, in the cozy lounge or on the terrace. A rich selection of drinks completes the menu.

Hot meals throughout: Daily Brunch until 12.00 noon (on weekends until 2 pm) / Lunch from 11.00 am – 5.00 pm / Dinner from 6.00 pm. With us, not only the Josper burns daily, but also regularly the Goods Shed Stage. DJs and bands bring the mood to our boil. We love to entertain you and never miss an opportunity.

Our Prätschli-Stall

Our Prätschli-Stall has cult status among guests beyond the borders of Arosa. Located right next to the hotel, you will find exactly what your heart desires: a cosy hut atmosphere, crackling open fire, warming drinks and hearty dishes.

In winter, the Prätschli-Stall is a popular place to go for après-ski, with a lively crowd of skiers and snowboarders. And in the evening you can enjoy a raclette or cheese fondue with family or friends.

During the summer, we will spoil you with Grisons specialities, seasonal dishes and, of course, the well-known and popular Stall-Schnitzel. When the weather is fine, you can enjoy the sun on our wonderful terrace. (fondue and raclette in summer only available if ordered in advance)
