Description
From the PostBus stop in Tschlin, head east to the church and then along an alpine path. The path leads over the stream and then the road starts to become a little steeper. A wonderful view of the Norbertshöhe opens up. The road runs through meadows and forests up to Alp Tea. In summer, the alp is open for refreshments. After the alp, a turnoff on the left leads further up. From the highest point, a small path leads across picturesque meadows and forests back to the Engadin village of Tschlin, where the tour began.
Hidden Gem
This hike can easily be combined with a tour of Tschlin. The Engadin village of Tschlin, situated high above the River Inn, is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland.

- Take the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Prättigau or Upper Engadine) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station.
- Continue by PostBus to the PostBus stop Tschlin, Cumün
Travel Information
- From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass to the Lower Engadine on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
Tschlin is located around 17 km east of Scuol in the municipality of Valsot and can be reached by car in around 20 minutes.
