Description
You should plan well for this route. From Purcs, a little below Alp Mora, a bus runs twice a week from July to September, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, down to Trin, the end point of your route. Check the operating and departure times.
As soon as you leave the flat high plateau, some challenges await you: you walk on narrow stony rock ledges along massive rocks, spiced with short rope-secured passages and exposed sections. A short stop is worthwhile for the magnificent views. The route remains varied until you reach your destination at Alp Mora.
An alpine path leads you steeply over alpine meadows to the whirlpools. If you're brave, you plunge into the ice-cold mountain water and are fresh again for the rest of your route to the bus stop at Purcs.
There you board the bus and return comfortably down into the valley to Trin Dorf.
Note: On this route there are no drinking water fountains on the way or at Alp Mora to refill your water supplies. So pack enough!
