Description
The Bocchetta d’Agnon (also called Cama), is the high altitude pass between Italy and Switzerland that allows access to the Cama Valley from the Darengo Valley (through the Bear Pass), with a rather long route, reserved for experienced hikers familiar with high mountain terrain. Starting from the 1800s, the path was more or less continuously used by smugglers, the "spalloni", during their border trafficking between Italy and Switzerland.
