Val Susauna
The Val Susauna is a lesser-known side valley of the Engadin. Especially during the times of the muleteers, it was a much frequented passage on the way to the south.

Description

There is a car park in front of the small hamlet of Susauna where you can park your car. If you travel by bus, you have to get off at Chapella, La Resgia and walk along the road to Susauna. From Susauna, a natural road leads into the valley, lined by the Valember, which ripples away. On the way, a plaque informs about the last bear shot in this valley. From Alp Pignaint the path climbs. This tour turns back here, but if you still want to, you can follow the path all the way to Alp Funtauna.
