Description

Since winter 2026, there have been three varied cross-country ski trails in Maloja, Sils and Silvaplana where you can learn and improve your cross-country skiing technique in the terrain. You can practise skating and classic cross-country skiing techniques at your own pace on boards with photos, explanatory texts and QR videos.

Hidden Gem

The cross-country course is suitable as an introduction. Cross-country skiers with a basic knowledge of technique can particularly benefit from self-study.

The equipment can also be hired from Giacometti Sport in Maloja.

Directions

The course starts at the Gicometti Sport parking lot in Maloja. From there, head in the direction of Aela (east-southeast). When you cross the Ca d'Matè road, you come down to the Pra da Kulm area, where the course makes its rounds.
Different technical elements (braking, ascent technique, etc.) can be practised at each post.
