Details

Description

From the Engadin, take the train early in the morning to Davos. In Davos Platz, the road leads to Dürrboden, where the actual ascent to Scalettapass begins. The singletrail from here to Scalettapass at 2606 m above sea level is challenging and requires full concentration. However, the muscle and mental effort is rewarded, and the well-deserved break up here is enjoyed as much by taking in the panorama as by eating our provisions. The descent starts off rocky but becomes more flowing until the alpine road is reached in Val Susauna. On the alpine road, it is pleasant rolling through the lovely valley down to Susauna. Shortly after, the path branches off to the right into the forest towards S-chanf and then continues to Zuoz train station.
