Description

The path runs close to the shore. Over compacted snow surface, the route leads around the lake, partly past the edge of shady forest patches, then again through open terrain. Squirrels live in the forest, which have become so accustomed to tourists that they approach trustingly to within half a meter. On the north side, the view over the lake into the valley is particularly impressive. The Davos mountain landscape in the background perfectly completes the picturesque picture.

In winter: White snowfields line the shore, occasionally a small wooden jetty extends into the water. Along the way, there are numerous cozy park benches from which to enjoy the view. Thanks to the idyllic scenery, Lake Davos is a suitable place to relax and recharge.

In summer: Lake Davos also has a lot to offer in summer. Besides the beautiful circular hike, you can watch wakeboarders, stand-up paddlers, sailors, or bathers. And if it gets too warm during the hike, cooling off in the fresh water of Lake Davos is highly recommended.

Hidden Gem

The Restaurant Seebüel offers itself as a refreshment option along the route.
