Details
Description
The exit to the Heidialp starts in the spa town of Bad Ragaz and leads through the village and across the Rhine to Maienfeld. You drive here exclusively on paved roads with hard surfaces or then on simple gravel paths. In Maienfeld you drive through the winding, romantic streets to the higher hamlet of Rofels. Not far from Rofels is the Heidid village, which is visited by thousands of guests every year. From here on, the second major climb to Heidialp begins. With the e-mountain bike, you will still arrive relaxed at the finish of the stage.
The return journey leads over a rather steep but harmless gravel path to Jenins, also a beautiful village in the Bündner Herrschaft. From Jenins it goes back to the Alpine Rhine and follows it down the valley back to Bad Ragaz.
Geheimtipp
With a battery-saving driving style, no charging is necessary. Battery cannot be charged on site.
Ausrüstung
Normal bike equipment. Functional clothing is an advantage, as a longer ascent is followed by an equally long descent.
