Description

This route starts at Bad Ragaz train station. The route guidance is easy, as the whole route leads along the signposted SwitzerlandMobile route "474 Pizol Pardiel Bike". The route leads along a road with very little traffic, partly gravel and partly paved. First past the ruins of Freudenberg Castle, one of the largest castle complexes in the Sarganserland, then to Schwammboden and finally up to Pardiel.

The panoramic restaurant Edelweiss invites you to fine Swiss specialties with a beautiful sun terrace and a unique view of the Rhine Valley and the Rätikon, a mountain range of the Eastern Alps.
