Furtschellas - Lej Sgrischus - Val Fex - Sils

Floating high above, you travel with the aerial cable car to probably the most beautiful balcony of Sils. From the mountain station of the Furtschellas cable car, you continue on foot. The reward for the ascent over Alp Munt is, besides the impressive mountain panorama, the Lej Sgrischus nestled in a hollow, which, when the wind is calm, magically reflects the surrounding glaciated mountain peaks. As eerie as its Romansh name is, its aura is mysterious and lovely. The icing on the cake is the unique viewing platform of Piz Chüern, accessible from the lake. The panoramic view of Val Fex and the imposing Corvatsch massif is inspiring, and the many alpine flowers along the path delight. Then it goes steeply downhill into Val Fex, from where you return to Sils either comfortably by horse-drawn carriage or on a varied hiking trail.

Option A: Instead of taking the gondola, you can walk up to Furtschellas in an additional 1.5 hours.

Option B: From the lake, you can still climb up to Piz Chüern (2689 m a.s.l.) and then descend steeply directly into Val Fex.

Option C: If you don’t want to walk back to Sils, you can either take the horse-drawn carriage or the horse omnibus back to Sils from Hotel Fex or Hotel Sonne.
