Description

The section on the single trail towards Piz Plaun Grond leads over the Senda Pauli, a well-known hiking trail on which many flower-loving hikers are often on the way - so consideration is the top priority here. For bikers, this trail offers a beautiful traverse, which requires technical skill in places.

After a short but crisp ascent, we reach the panoramic summit of the Piz Plaun Grond (Bostg). Up there, without any trees or shrubs, an unobstructed panoramic view of the surrounding mountains opens up - simply breathtaking!

The descent then begins on a flowing single trail, past the idyllic alpine huts Mises dil Bostg. This is followed by a shady, wooded section to Prau Sura. Directly along the way, a fountain with fresh spring water invites you to refresh yourself - ideal for hands, face, or even your feet.

Before we can enjoy the leisurely end to the tour, there is one last steep descent to the charming hamlet of Mompé Tujetsch. From there we roll very relaxed easypeasy to the valley station of the cable car - perfect end to an impressive tour!

Hidden Gem

The ascent with the cable car is free of charge with the guest card (but not for the bike)

Directions

From the Caischavedra mountain station we follow the hiking trail towards Piz Plaun Grond (Bostg). From there it goes down the middle of the three hiking trails to Mises dil Bostg. Finding your way to the left into the forest is a bit difficult here. After the forest we turn right and reach the meadow Prau Sura. After the well follows a forest. A last steep stretch leads to the road in Mompé Tujetsch. Turn left and follow the signs for Disentis.
