The long nature experience route - GWunderwald - in the region around Heidboden in Davos is a place for mind, hand, and heart.
Details
Description
There are various routes starting from a bus stop of the Davos public transport that lead towards Heidboden as the center of GWunderwald. Along these paths, different experience stations are set up depending on the situation. Visitors can choose their own routes and on any other path get back to the nearest bus stop or a restaurant. The route can be experienced in eight different and combinable sub-paths. On hiking trails and forest roads, you have the opportunity to learn about various nature topics depending on the situation. At 31 activity stations, nature, recreation, landscape, agriculture, forestry, hunting, flora and fauna, and much more are playfully brought closer to you. The activity stations are equally suitable for adults and children, as they explain nature in a playful way.
Hidden Gem
You can also get to know the nature experience route through excursions. Forester André Kindschi leads as a ranger both within the guest program of Davos Klosters and individually, e.g., for school classes, through the "GWunderwald".
