While at higher altitudes there is at best already snow, the trails in the valley are still free of snow. Our interactive snow depth map helps you to plan your tour. Here you can see at a glance at www.flims.com/schneesituation where you can already expect snow on the paths and trails and where you can still be on the road without getting cold feet.
From Flims the route leads via Fidaz past the mighty rock face of the Flimstein into the high valley Bargis and on to the hidden waterfalls of the "cathedral" Rusna.

Description
After the well-earned refreshment, you continue on a natural road through the picturesque high valley. The road leads along the mighty Flimserstein over the plateau, then rises slowly and ends at Alp Rusna. Behind Alp Rusna, the narrow, class-like entrance to the "Cathedral" is on the left. A footpath leads along the stream through the steep rock faces. The two waterfalls that rush down from the high pulpit are the hallmarks of this unique natural monument.
The descent back on the same path as you ascended.
Watch out for oncoming traffic when descending from Barigs to Flims!
