Description

We walk on the paved road of the Vorderrhein power plants, which is closed to traffic, to the dam wall in Val Curnera. The slope is even and pleasant. At the point 1984 we find a bench, where we take the first break with a beautiful view of Tschamut. Now the path leads into the Val Curnera and with the binoculars we may see the spotlights at work on the opposite side. The valley is very rich in minerals and extraordinary crystal finds are made here again and again. Do not frighten, even if sometimes blown up. Nothing happens to us on our side. At point 2039 we are higher than the dam wall and an easy descent now begins. Arriving at the crown of the dam wall, we see all the way to the back of the valley, where we can see isolated Alps. The way back is on the same route
