Description

From Langwies you follow the path up through the wild and romantic valley, through deep gorges, over high bridges, past large icicles and a wild stream. As soon as the path leaves the forest, you walk through a beautiful valley towards the small village "Sapün": An old, beautiful Walser village. It is worth stopping briefly to admire the beautiful houses. After the village you continue along the path through the valley, past small hamlets. At the end it gets a bit strenuous and steep again until after a short time you reach the mountain guesthouse Heimeli.

Hidden Gem

After the nearly two-hour ascent, indulge yourself culinary in the cozy parlor of the beautiful Walser house "Heimeli".
