Description
On the T24 we move across lush mountain meadows and through beech forests to the Schlappin Valley. A highlight here is the approximately 70m long and 19m high Schliifitschuggen suspension bridge.
Another sight is the waterfall at the Alpbachtobel at the entrance to Serneus, a district of Klosters with a beautiful village fountain and old Walser houses, known for its charm and hospitality.
Along the field path, it continues to the historic "Bad Serneus" - the last sulphur spa in the Prättigau.
The landmark of Klosters is the Sunniberg Bridge. The T24 trail passes under this bridge, followed by an 800m vertical trail. Afterwards, a beautiful view of the bridge opens up from above. The trail then leads through a forest section to the Rütiweg. From there, it continues along a gravel road towards the Rhaetian Railway turning tunnel of the legendary narrow-gauge railway line from Landquart to Davos.
Finally, the trail leads on single trails and gravel roads through mixed forest sections to the Gotschnabahn and back to the starting point at Klosters station square.
