Through a shady forest to the mountain inn Las Palas. T2
Details
Description
We hike through fragrant fir forest from the pass road towards Planatsch and shortly afterwards through the Uaul da Roses. However, you won’t find any roses here, because "rosa" is a pre-Roman word for glacier, mountain stream, or creek bed. In gentle hairpin bends, we steadily climb uphill, crossing small bridges and footbridges over babbling brooks. Otherwise, a carpet of fir needles muffles our footsteps. In Milez, one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the region, we overlook the whole valley. There is quite some activity here in winter, but in summer we enjoy the peace and let the cowbells not disturb us.
The landlady of Tegia las Palas is happy to serve us a cool drink, and if you want to be out early in the morning, you can also book a breakfast. What could be better!

Directions
From the parking bay on the pass road, we hike on a signposted path towards Planatsch. As soon as we leave the forest, we turn left onto another hiking trail. We reach a forest road, which we follow about 100 meters to the left. At the signpost, we go uphill again to the right. We reach another forest road, which we follow to the right to Milez. After the restaurant, we can turn left onto a hiking trail. Back at the road, we first go right, then shortly afterwards left again and follow the road below the Planatsch mountain lodge to Caspausa. A meadow path leads us back to the edge of the forest, where we meet the ascent route.
