Directions
From Savognin (Piz Martegnas mountain station):
From Savognin take the mountain railways to Piz Martegnas (2670.4 m). Descent over Murter and south of P. 2230 into Val Cumegna to Alp Foppa (2004 m). Then ascent northwest to the Motta sur Trotg hill (P. 2538). Up the steep east slope in the middle section onto the ridge south of P. 2859 and along the west side of the ridge southwest to the summit. 4 hours.
Descent: along the ascent route to Salouf or to Mon and Tiefencastel.
Descent to Salouf:
From the summit at 2971.8 m down the steep east flank to the Motta sur Trotg terrace and across the wide slopes of sur Trotg to the bridge P. 1951 at Som igls Mellens. Then along the alp road to Cruschetta P. 1692 and on the old alp path to Prada Setga (1444 m). Across the meadow slopes northeast to Salouf (1258 m).
From Zillis-Reischen:
From Zillis-Reischen (1024 m) on the old alp path via La Tur to the alp path bend P. 1235. Follow the alp path to Plan Tischatscha and further to Alp Taspegn (2199 m). In southeast direction, enter the large basin northwest of Piz Curvér to P. 2385. Up the increasingly steep northern slope of Curvér Pintg da Neaza until at about 2600 m you can traverse east onto a shoulder at the start of the northern flank of Piz Curvér. Over this broad flank to the summit. 6 hours.
