Description
Raetica Classica is not named the circular route without reason. All these regions have belonged for centuries to the Free State of the Three Leagues, the predecessor state of Graubünden.
The route connects scenic and cultural highlights, to name a few: the beautiful Upper Engadin lake landscape, the largest chestnut forest in Europe, the Valtellina wine region, and the impressive mountain world around the Bernina Pass with its glaciers.
