The Rhine Gorge is known as the "Grand Canyon" of Switzerland. The wild and pristine gorge with its open gravel banks provides a habitat for rare birds, and the extensive forests are famous for their orchid diversity.

Description
The demanding hike starts in the small mountain village of Trin Digg and leads via Ransun down into the Rhine Gorge to Versam/Safien Station. From the station, the path ascends to the Islabord viewpoint, where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Rhine Gorge. From Islabord, the path leads through Versam village to the Spitg and Zault viewpoints and back to Trin Station. Crossing the spectacular suspension bridge offers breathtaking views of the Rhine. After about 45 minutes, you reach the starting point Trin Digg again.

Pack barbecue items – there are various barbecue spots wonderfully located along the Rhine.
