Description
One hundred years after Segantini's arrival in Bergell, the “Sentiero Segantini” was inaugurated. On the approximately two-hour walk, you follow Segantini's tracks in 14 stages, which were photographed and documented by Labahrd and Galli from Basel.
It begins in the immediate vicinity of the Segantini atelier in Maloja. From the first station, it goes up to the Torre Belvedere and further to the glacial mills. Via Capolago, along the lake and past the Maloja Palace back to the village. After a round towards Salecina and past the Maloja cemetery, the route ends at the Chiesa Bianca.
