Description

The stage connects the intact Engadine villages of Sent, Vnà, and Ramosch with the picturesque Val Sinestra – a highlight for nature and culture lovers. Take the post bus to Sent, from where a scenic country road leads into the Val Sinestra. The narrow valley with wooded steep slopes, abundant orchids, and the unique earth pyramids of Prà San Peder forms the turning point of the route. After crossing the valley stream, the path ascends through shady forest to the road towards Vnà and Ramosch. Along the way, the Zuort farm invites you to enjoy regional specialties and a relaxing break. From Vnà, a wide, almost flat road leads over sunny terraces to Sur Savuogn, with impressive panoramas from Val d'Assa over Val d'Uina to the Sesvenna group south of Scuol.

Hidden Gem

In the historic spa house Val Sinestra, a look into the bath floor is worthwhile, where cures and mud baths were once conducted. At the Brancla, arsenic-containing mineral springs can also be admired. The Zuort farm offers dining options. In Vnà, you can discover the walkable "Dicziunari Rumantsch," which allows comparisons of expressions in Romansh, Italian, German, and English and playfully teaches you Romansh.
