Sentiero “Diversità Forestale” – Un viaggio nella biodiversità alpina di San Bernardino

In San Bernardino, the Forest Diversity educational trail offers an immersive experience in the nature of the Bosch de la Valeten. Starting from Fornàs and arriving at the Lagh de Pian Doss, the route is suitable for families and curious about alpine biodiversity.

Along the way, information boards guide you to discover peat bogs, fir and larch forests, wet meadows and unique flora and fauna. Among the points of interest: the Suossa peat bog, the post-glacial Doss lake and notes on the local geology.

Created as part of the national "Forest Diversity" campaign, the trail enhances the natural heritage of the region, making biodiversity accessible and understandable to all ages.
