Details

Description

At the Bual football field in Vella, we strap on our snowshoes and follow the winter hiking trail for the first 100 m in the direction of Davos Muns. At the overview board with the mountain panorama we leave the path and walk up to the right over the pasture. After the ascent, which is about 20 minutes long, there is a flatter passage to the stream. After crossing the stream (small bridge) we meet the winter hiking trail in Sasuz and follow it to the forest of Vattiz. In the middle of the forest, we leave the trail and walk up to the left to Tschanabrels. Again there is a small ascent, a stream crossing and a section in the forest.  At Divrein the descent to Vignogn begins.

Geheimtipp

Shortly before Vignon, you can have a hot drink or a meal at Davos Munt.

Sicherheitshinweis

This snowshoe tour is marked off-road with pink posts, but is not groomed. It leads partly through steeper slopes. For this reason, you need basic knowledge in the assessment of avalanche danger.

Furthermore, a complete safety upgrade must always be carried - regardless of the current avalanche danger.

We recommend the WhiteRisk app and website to prepare and plan the tour.

For carefree enjoyment, we recommend our mountain guides and snowshoe hiking guides of the Surselva.

For us humans, winter is a wonderful time! Snow-covered landscapes, clear, pure air and in the evening after the snowshoe tour, a warm, cozy home awaits you. For our game, such as roe deer, deer and gems, winter is a hard time! Every disturbance by us humans, every escape, becomes torture for these animals and drains their reserves. Stay on the published route! In this way, the wildlife and quiet zones are protected. www.map.geo.admin.ch
