Description

On this ski tour, it is best to use the Grosshorn car park between Avers-Cresta and Avers-Pürt on the right side of the road when arriving by car. If you arrive by Postbus, you can get off at Avers-Pürt. The tour to the Grosshorn is not too strenuous and is well suited for getting started. From the Grosshorn car park, walk below the main road to Pürt and walk along the Rhine by bridge. Slightly south ascending it goes to the Mieschboda and then over the southern ridge from the CHerlibach to point 2341. Then to the "Uf da Stück" and west to the north ridge. Then it goes to the summit. There is a wonderful view of the Val Madris and the Avers with the Piz Platta. The descent then takes place via the ascent route. Attention: Observe wild rest areas. The Hotel Capetta in Avers-Cresta is well suited as an overnight stay and also as a stop tip after the tour.
