Description

From Rossa you climb slowly towards the south-southeast. Continue over the cliff to Rià del Frott, which ends in a wonderful waterfall that is contemplative in Augio. Follow the river Rià di Frott on the left towards Carnalta, in the valley de l'ör. You cross the forest Bosch de Calvaresc for additional reach the Alp de Calvaresc Sot. At the junction: turn left to Lake Cavaresc; right brings the path with a slight incline to the Buffalora hut (2100m)

Equipment

Never underestimate the mountains. Even for the lightest tours with seal skins, we strongly recommend that you bring all safety equipment with you. Shovel, probe, avalanche transceiver and possibly the backpack with swimming aid should be part of the equipment of every ski tourer.

Directions

From Rossa, you gradually climb towards the south-south-east, keeping above the cliff that extends to the Rià del Frott, which then suddenly descends and gives life to the beautiful waterfall in front of Augio. Continue to the left along the Rià di Frott towards Carnalta in the Valle de l'ör. Cross the Bosch de Calvaresc and then reach the Alp de Calvaresc Sot at 1837m. Here is the crossroads: on the left, the path leads us towards Lac de Cavaresc, while on the right, with a slight climb, it leads us to the Buffalora Hut (2100m).
