This ski tour on the Schamserberg is located in an ideal ski touring area with countless possibilities. The start is ideally at the Lavanos car park just before the village. But it can also be started in the village of Wergenstein. With beautiful overnight accommodation, Wergenstein is an ideal starting point for ski tours and other winter activities. At the beginning via the winter hiking trail, you ski up in the direction of the mountain pasture settlement of Dumagns and Dumagns Dafora to Alp Tumpriv. The alp offers a good opportunity to take a break and enjoy the landscape. Then you can climb southwest to Punt 2403 and walk towards the Carnusa Pass (point 2531). Finally, follow the ridge to the summit of Piz Tarantschun. You will be rewarded with a magnificent view over Alp Tumpriv. The descent is via the ascent route.
