Description

After arriving at Alp Dado (terminus of the Waltensburg chairlift), walk to the Alp Dado mountain restaurant (approx. 150 meters).

Hidden Gem

If you don't have your own sledge, you can hire sledges at the Waltensburg and Brigels valley stations.

Safety Note

Follow the signs and stay on the marked paths. Take particular care at junctions with the ski slope. It is very easy to be overlooked by skiers or snowboarders on a sledge. Please also be considerate of pedestrians.

The speed of sledging is often underestimated. We strongly recommend that children in particular wear a helmet.

Equipment

Winter-proof footwear and warm clothing are strongly recommended. Gloves and headgear are also an advantage. Please note that you are up to 1,800 meters above sea level. Sun protection for the skin such as sunglasses are an advantage and are recommended. Wear a helmet if possible.
