Along the way, you'll encounter hand-carved stone sculptures made from local stones, solve creative puzzles, and become part of an exciting story. Each chapter can be experienced directly on site via QR code as a radio play or you can immerse yourself in the story with the stone gnome brochure. This means that families who deliberately want to avoid digital media on the road can also experience history together.

Directions

The theme trail starts at the Rothornbahn mountain station, leads over 11 stations to 2899 m above sea level and back to the Rothornbahn mountain station. The circular route is signposted.

Public Transport

The journey from Zurich is by train to Chur. Then change to the buses of PostBus Graubünden (No. 182) and reach Lenzerheide within 40 minutes. Get off at Lenzerheide Rothornbahn. There it goes directly into the gondola and up to the start of the trail.
