Description
You climb the Piz Mundaun on a circular route. A varied route and fantastic views await you.
A forest and meadow path leads from Surcuolm to the Bündner Rigi inn. Now the path often climbs steeply up to Piz Mundaun. If you walk slowly, you can enjoy the increasingly impressive panorama as you go. Once at the top, a visit to the Piz Mundaun platform is a must. Perhaps even a stop at the summit restaurant at the mountain station. Take the chairlift or walk down to Cuolm Sura in comfort. From there, the last stage leads back to Surcuolm on a beautiful hiking trail.
Geheimtipp
The signs on the viewing platform reveal the names of the most important peaks. With good visibility, the view extends from the Bernese to the Engadine and Tyrolean Alps.
Sicherheitshinweis
The tour should not be undertaken in uncertain weather conditions. Weather changes are frequent in the mountains. If a rain front or similar is approaching during the hike, you should turn back in good time.
