The winter hike starts at the Tannenheim Post bus stop. Below the bus stop, follow Schwendiwiesenstrasse to the right past the valley station of the Prodalp Express. The path leads past small chalets and farms until you have to cross a bridge after a short while. With a view of Sarganserland and its mountains, the trail leads slightly upwards towards Angettlin.
