Tarasp – Val Plavna – Tarasp
The varied route in Val Plavna leads through beautiful forest paths and the Pradatsch plain to Alp Plavna and back.
Details
Description
Ascent via Champosch and Vallatscha to Alp Laisch. From here it continues into Val Plavna, now somewhat flatter, up to Alp Plavna. The plain at Pradatsch, also called "la Sahara", has its very own charm. The stream is often not visible here beneath the scree – you only hear it rushing beneath.
On the return, just before Alp Laisch, turn right and follow the flowing trail along the Plavna stream back to Tarasp.
Hidden Gem
Alp Plavna is open approximately from early July to early September. For more information, see here.
