Description

Since summer 2021, you can experience a completely new and special kind of forest bathing in the middle of the magical Laax forest: the "Senda dil Dragun", the longest treetop walk in the world. This tour takes you directly up into the lofty heights. And while you hike from the district of Laax Murschetg to Laax Dorf, not only you, but also potential younger fellow hikers will have a blast.

Safety Note

Dogs* and other animals of any kind are unfortunately not allowed on the trail. An exception is made for assistance dogs and guide dogs. Dogs must be kept on a leash in our area.

Open fires are prohibited on the trail.

For safety reasons, only wheelchairs and strollers are permitted on the trail.

You are in the great outdoors in the middle of the forest. Numerous animals live there that should not be disturbed by extra noise.

Picnicking on the trail is not permitted. Enjoy your picnic by Lake Laax or at one of the fire pits around the treetop walk.

Children aged 6 and over are permitted to use the slide unaccompanied.

Children under 6 years of age can slide for free when accompanied by an adult.

Directions

The trail starts in the heart of the Laax district of Laax Murschetg. Right at the start, a tower is waiting to be climbed. Then you are already immersed in the magic of the forest. A total of one and a half kilometres are waiting to be explored. At eye level with the native trees, you walk from platform to platform and learn interesting facts about the region, its plants and both human and animal inhabitants. Finally, you return to the starting point via the same route.

Public Transport

If you arrive by train, the international train connections will take you to Chur. From there you can reach our destination by postbus in the direction of Flims. The same applies if you arrive in Ilanz with the Rhaetian Railway. You will find the best connections at SBB.

Travel Information

If you are coming from Zurich or Basel, follow the A3 / A13 motorway direction Chur and take exit 18 Reichenau / Flims. Follow the main road up the hill and reach Laax after 30 minutes. Coming from San Bernardino is the same exit.

Parking

In Laax Murschetg is a multi-storey car park (mountain railways). Laax Dorf car park directly on the Laaxer See.
