Description

From Turrahus, walk along the valley floor to Piggamad.
Now follow the steep mountain path towards Alperschällilücke. The ascent through the Höllgraben to the Alperschälli is steep and challenging, the path requires sure-footedness. If you have climbed the HellGraben, you will reach the Alperschälli. It belongs to the municipality of Safien, but has always been managed by the Schams farmers, because it is more easily accessible from the Schamser side. In the summer months, the chance of being able to observe stone deer is very high. Now follow the path a bit towards The Alperschälli Lücke and then turn left to cross the Alperschälli to the north and climb to the Farcletta d'igl Lai Grand.
Accompanied by the sight of the imposing Pizzas d'Anarosa, you walk down to the Schamsertal valley, past the pearl of the Schamserberg, the mountain lake Lai Grand with his little brother Lai Pintg through the legendary Alp Anarosa, on to Nurdagn and from there down old paths to the alpine huts of Danis. From there, follow the agricultural road to Dumagns.
Here turn right to take an idyllic path the last kilometers of viaCapricorn to Wergenstein and the feet.
